National Volunteers' Week

June 1-7 is opent in een nieuw venster National Volunteers’ Week in England and so we would like to say THANK YOU to all our wonderful volunteers, past, present and future, for all your efforts, hard work and dedication!!! You have made a considerable difference at our projects and the changes that you create motivate us!

We hope that you use this Volunteers’ Week to motivate those around you to also volunteer! Remember to share your experience as much as possible because helping those around you to understand some of the issues you saw in South Africa will help to make the world a better place!

Involving those around you by telling them your stories, showing them your pictures, asking for their help and discussing the issues with them will help them to truly understand that they can make a difference in the developing world, that AIDS is a treatable disease and not a death sentence, that children do not have to be orphaned and that we have a responsibility as human beings to help those that need our help.

There is an ancient Chinese proverb that says:

Tell me and I will forget
Show me and I may remember
Involve me and I will understand

Creating involvement this Volunteers Week is our goal. Send an email to info@be-more.org to let us know how you plan to involve those around you!!!
