New Project: I Care

Be More is pleased to announce our newest project partnership with I Care. I Care, is a non-profit South African organisation devoted to finding meaningful and sustainable solutions to the challenge of street children in South Africa.

I Care rehabilitates, educates, feeds and nurtures boys who have recently lived on the streets of Durban. The boys are placed in I Care homes with a foster mother and father and are entered into a specialized education program at the I Care school. Volunteers work in both the I Care homes and the I Care school helping to teach the boys valuable social skills, improve their English, catch up in their education and learn to be children again.

NB. Because of the nature of the boys' background and their vulnerability we have a 3 month minimum stay and a minimum age limit of 22 to volunteer at I Care.
