Volunteers at Umthombo
Since the end of 2007 Umthombo has had its own mobile medical clinic. The clinic treats everything from minor ailments and injuries to side affects from drug use and much more. Moreover, volunteers try to establish regular contact with the children and win over their trust so that they can gradually be helped to leave their life on the streets.
As a volunteer you travel with the mobile clinic, look after the children, plan games and sports for them, help find them places of safety, give them attention and care.
