At this time, Be More has several projects at which you can volunteer.
Agape Child Care Centre in South Africa which 35 children call home. Most of their parents have passed away from AIDS or are unable to take care of them because of the disease. It is a fun and exciting project with a lot of opportunity to connect with the children. In the Projects section you can read more about the Agape Child Care Centre.
The Dream Centre is a hospice that offers palliative care for people living with AIDS. As a volunteer you can help in many different ways, from assisting with medical care, helping patients with a hobby, reading the newspaper together, organizing activities or helping with the daily running of the hospice. Again this is a difficult project, but one where you will see first hand what AIDS is truly like and one where even the smallest gesture will make a huge difference. In the Projects section you can read more about the Dream Centre.

Liebenhaus is a care centre that is home to approximately 25 boys, all of whom come from difficult backgrounds: abuse, abandonment, living on the street, etc. As a volunteer you help with raising the kids, with running the centre and with organizing activities for the neighborhood, which also has many problems. In the Projects section you can read more about Liebenhaus.
Ready for Life-Secondary Schools teaches essential life skills to young people after school such as, applying for a job, setting life goals, using a computer and many other programs that prepare learners for life after school. As a volunteer you assist the students and the tutors in the classroom and help organize educational programs. In the Projects section you can read more about Ready for Life-Secondary Schools.
Umthombo is a project that works with children who live on the streets of Durban by feeding and teaching them, offering them medical care and gently encouraging them to leave the street. The children may have emotional, psychological or substance abuse problems. Volunteers offer medical care, try to establish a connection with the boys and organize fun events for them. Check the Projects section to read more about Umthombo.Ithemba is a day care centre that works with children with severe intellectual disabilities. By offering this care, Ithemba allows parents from impoverished communities to work during the day, while ensuring their children are given the extra attention, support and education they require. Volunteer support means each child can receive the special attention and care they deserve. Check the Projects section to read more about Ithemba.

I Care is a program that works with young boys whom have recently left their life living on the streets of Durban. After going through a rehabilitation program, the boys begin their education again at the I Care school and are placed in an I Care home with 4- 8 other boys and a house mother and father. As a volunteer you work in both the I Care school and the I Care homes. Check the Projects section to read more about I Care.
